Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Pay Hours Tracker (“we”, “us”, or “the app”) handles information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by the publisher of Pay Hours Tracker. For privacy inquiries, contact us at contact@shiftlogplus.com.

2. What we collect

We collect information you provide and limited technical data needed to run the Service.

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, a hashed password (we do not store your password in plain text), and optional profile details such as a display name.

Work and pay-related data you enter

The Service is designed to store the data you choose to save, for example: jobs and labels; clock-in and clock-out times, breaks, and notes; pay rates and pay schedule settings; overtime and double-time rules; time off and holiday entries; deduction and retirement settings you configure; and similar entries you add in the app. This data is associated with your account and synced to our servers so you can access it across devices.

Device and technical data

We may collect standard technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, diagnostic logs, and timestamps of requests. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

3. How we use information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service (including sync and authentication).
  • Protect the security and integrity of accounts and our systems.
  • Respond to support requests and legal obligations where required.
  • Offer subscription or trial features when those products are enabled.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your work hours or pay estimates for advertising profiling.

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

If applicable law requires a “legal basis” for processing, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Service you signed up for); legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement); and consent where we ask for it explicitly.

5. Storage, retention, and deletion

Your account data is stored on secure servers. We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your account at any time through the in-app flow or via our Delete Account page on this website, which requires your email and password. When deletion completes, we remove your account and associated application data from our active systems in line with our technical and legal obligations. Some minimal records (for example, security or accounting logs) may be retained for a limited period where the law requires.

6. Sharing of information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who assist us with hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, or analytics — under contracts that limit their use of data.
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not share your data with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and secure password hashing. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

9. International transfers

If you use the Service from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be processed in that country or other regions where we or our providers operate. We take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards where required by law.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@shiftlogplus.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised policy.
